Some nondegenerate submanifolds of almost poly-norden metric manifolds

This study, which is designed as a master thesis, consists of six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part and this section presents information on the emergence and development of some special differentiable manifolds such as golden manifolds, metallic manifolds and almost poly-Norden Riemannian manifolds. In the second section, some basic concepts for better understanding of the rest of the thesis are given. In the third section after giving basic definitions and properties of golden ratio; convergence, powers and convergence of powers of golden ratio are investigated. Also, bronze and silver ratios are discussed. In the fourth section, almost poly-Norden Riemannian manifolds and their basic geometric properties are investigated. Especially, the invariant and anti-invariant submanifolds of such manifolds are studied. In the fifth chapter, which contains the original results of the thesis, the slant submanifolds of poly-Norden Riemann manifolds are introduced for the first time, their geometric properties are examined and examples are given. In addition, the normality conditions of the structure, which is induced to the submanifolds from the ambient manifolds, are obtained. The last section is devoted to the results and recommendations.
