Abstract (EN)
As a disease chronic renal insufficiency restricts people's life space, violets life quality, causes to live fear of one's life and labor loss even forces people to end work life, affects almost every age group mostly young adults. The major purpose of this study is to evaluate psychological endurance state and factors affecting this state in hemodialysis patients. To this end 178 individuals who undergoes hemodialysis treatment at private centers were given a questionnaire regarding socio demographics and psychological endurance. SPSS 20.0 were used for survey data. As a result of examining the findings obtained no effects has been found of age, family type and the duration of hemodialysis on psychological endurance however the results showed meaningful relation between gender, marital status, educational background, working conditions and psychological endurance. It can be said that this study has reach its purpose. Nevertheless the literature search has been showed that the studies of the given sample are sufficient enough regarding psychological endurance. For further studies wider sample groups and different illnesses can be proposed.
