Abstract (EN)

Research, hepatopankreatobiliyer surgery patients in postoperative complications was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the training. Research at the Ege University Faculty of Medicine Department of Surgery Organ Transplant Hospital ward applied. Work consist of the required number of patients undergoing surgical intervention until 10.03. 2012 and 10.06.2012. The study population consisted of 100 patients who accepted the application (n= 100).Developed by the researcher based on the literature about the 'Information Form' and 'Knowledge Level Evaluation Form titled collected using a questionnaire consisting of two sections and 40 questions (Bkz. Ek 1).The questionnaire was designed to measure the level of knowledge and is intended to respond to in patients. Made of two groups of patients with and without training after the first 50 people to 50 people on the subject of education after the application is implemented. In order to prevent the interaction between the group of patients who are not training group continued to work after the training has been given.Analysis of the data obtained in this study, Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) for Windows 15.0 software package was used. Data points show compliance with the normal distribution of knowledge score for all comparisons of non-parametric tests were made with the Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests. In comparisons of groups of categorical data chi-square and Fisher's exact probability tests. Statistical significance value of p <0.05 and are described.Socio-demographic characteristics of the patients and patients without disease education and training histories were analyzed statistically significant difference between the patients (p> 0.05).In parallel with the literature on the outcome of screening is to be effective in terms of education, Patient Information.
