Abstract (EN)
In this research, was intended to obtain the cost and the optimum components of the system which meets adequate electrical energy by means of hybrid wind-solar power plant for lightening of an electricity laboratory in Afyon Kocatepe University taking into account the sunshine duration of Afyonkarahisar city and the average wind speed. In the chapter 1, aim and scope of the thesis and basic contents of the previous studies on hybrid power plants were explained. In the chapter 2, the status of renewable energy resources were investigated in Turkey and in the world and, solar, wind and hybrid energy system were introduced. In the chapter 3, the necessary computations involving the components of the hybrid system were calculated, obtained their costs and designed the optimum system. In the chapter 4, the findings by which result of the computations and the parameters that affect them were represented. In the chapter 5, the obtaining results were evaluated.
