Abstract (EN)
The goal of this study was to improve the surface properties of AISI 304L stainless steel, which is widely used in the industry, by mixing Sulzer Metco Diamalloy 2002 powder (Nickel Based Fusible Alloy / Tungsten Carbide) and Diamalloy 4700 powder (CoNiCrAlY) in various proportions and by applying the coating on steel surface using the HVOF spray method. The C sample was prepared from 100% Sulzer Metco Diamalloy 2002 powder and the D sample was prepared from a mixture of 75% Sulzer Metco Diamalloy 2002 powder and 25% Diamalloy 4700 powder. The impact of powders with different compositions was investigated after the coating was applied. After the metallographic processes on the coating applied to AISI 304 steel sample surfaces were completed, the visual examination was made, and coating thickness measurements and microhardness measurements were carried out. Abrasion tests were performed with Alumina ball (Al2O3) from different distances, at variable speed and with different loads. After the abrasion, friction, roughness, SEM, and XRD analyzes of the samples were made and all samples were investigated in detail after the coating was applied.
