Abstract (EN)

In the early years of Islam, the Prophet and the first Muslims were subjected to severe torture by the polytheists in Mecca. They migrated to Abyssinia for the sake of the development of Islam; however, the desired results could not be achieved. They migrated to the city of Medina as per the divine command, however, apart from the Ansar who had sworn allegiance to the Prophet in Aqaba, almost no one welcomed the Muhajir with tolerance. The Meccan Polytheists, who had used the religion of their ancestors for their own interests, were aware that this new belief that had emerged in their city would deeply shake their power. The migration of the Prophet and the Muhajir to Medina is evidence that they had missed the opportunity to eliminate this danger before it spread. For this reason, they did not hesitate to form alliances with every formation that opposed the Muslims, especially the Jews of Medina. On the other hand, the Jews, one of the most ancient nations in history, held the trade of Medina in their hands. They were establishing political authority in their favor by pitting the two Arab tribes of Aws and Khazraj against each other. They also had no doubt that the last divine prophet would emerge from among them. The migration of the Prophet Muhammad, who was of Arab origin from the Banu Quraysh, to Medina and the subsequent ending of the ongoing blood feud between the tribes of Aws and Khazraj, aroused the Jews' hostility towards the Prophet. In addition, there was another group in Medina, the hypocrites, who tried to sow seeds of discord among the Muslims. In such a chaotic environment against the Muslims, the Prophet Muhammad was subjected to verbal and physical attacks many times in the city of Medina, and assassination plans were made against him. Those who deemed this cruelty worthy of him did not refrain from attacking his family either. In our study, the Prophet We have discussed the attacks of polytheists, Jews and hypocrites against the Prophet and his family from his migration to Medina until his demise to the eternal realm.
