Sofia centered Turkish-Bulgarian dialogue on the eve of World War I and at the beginning

The main point of takes a side in the First World War of Bulgaria constitutes its ambitions in Macedonia. Whichever of the two fighting sides ensures Bulgaria of this purpose, Bulgaria intended to go to war in favour of that side. Bulgaria thougt that after the Treaty of Bucharest, good relations with the Ottoman State were by Bulgarian national policy and that it would obtain its interests in Macedonia by acting togerher with the Ottoman State and the Alliance States. Because during the Second Balkan War, most of Bulgaria's territory was captured by Greece, Serbia, and Romania, and these Balkan states were inclined to Entente States. The Entente States had to take territory from Greece, Serbia and Romania and give it to Bulgaria to bring Bulgaria to their side. There was no such obstacle opposite the Alliance States and the territory Bulgaria wanted was in the hands of the enemies of Germany and Austria-Hungary. Bulgaria did not hurry to go to war despite alliance attempts by both parties and insisted on maintaining its neutrality until it provides the most favourable conditions. He defeats that took of the British and French on the Çanakkale Front was effective in Bulgaria's entry into the World War I in side of the Alliance States. Bulgaria started negotiations with the Ottoman State in mid-July 1915 and signed Convention of Sofia on September 6, 1915, after several months of diplomatic negotiations. With this treaty, the Turkish-Bulgarian border was reorganized in favour of Bulgaria and Didymoteicho was left to Bulgaria. After the Convention of Sofia, another treaty of alliance was signed between Germany, Austria-Hungary and Bulgaria. With these treaties that signed, Bulgaria agreed to go to war against Serbia and became involved in the First World War on the side of the Alliance States.
