The word "journal", which is on Arabic word, orijinatiy from the root of "cem". Means a group of arranged and organized things. As a literary term. journal is the general name of the works compased of verses belonging to different people or prose which deals with variovs subjects.thw journals which are composed of verse and prose texts belonging to different poriods of our literature and which are one of the important source Works are examined in "Systematic Classification of Mecmua Project" (MESTAP).With the studies carired out in line with this project, the main objective of the Project is to determine the content of journals and make it easier to examine them if necewary in any study. Poets in the journals examined poems of these poets, verse forms, thypes and measure beiy tried to determine. İn this study, the poetry journals numbered BEL_Yz_K0006, BEL_Yz_K0007 and BEL_Yz_K0772 registered in the İstanbul Metropolitian Municipality Atatürk Library under the name of poetry journal were classified according to Systematic Classification of Mecmua Project (MESTAP).
