Abstract (EN)
Tales are folk narratives that deeply affect all readers with their magical world in the societies in which they exist. The harmony of many elements, from heroes to places, from goods to clothes, makes the unique world of tales perfect. In order to understand and tell tales, various studies are carried out on these elements that make up them. Clothes are one of the important elements that contain the hidden messages of the tales in which they are included, and when analyzed, reveal the reflections of the folk culture in the tales. In this thesis, clothes were analyzed and these messages and the functions they assumed were tried to be explained. For this study, the publication named "Ocaktan Gelen Haber (Ignácz Kúnos Compilation Török Népmesék, 1887 and 1889 Dates)" prepared by Meral Ozan in 2018 was considered as a source work and 98 tales in it were examined in terms of the clothes they contain. It has been determined that the item of clothing, which is analyzed with its narrative dimension, is very important for tales and their messages.
