Evaluating the activities within the coursebook of primary education 8th grade Turkish course in accordance with the teachers' opinions (The case of ağri province)

In this study, the applicability of the activities in the coursebook of primary education 8th grade Turkish course and their suitability for the students' level were aimed at determining by means of Turkish teachers' opinions. So, the aims of the study are to examine these opinions about certain factors such as grammar activities, narrative activities and comprehension activities existing in the coursebook. Since the research was aimed at determining the views of teachers, it was designed in the survey model. The study group of this research consisted of 178 Turkish teachers who work in the province of Ağrı, in the 2020-2021 academic year. The data were collected through (a) The Grammar Questionnaire, (b) The Narrative Techniques (Writing&Speaking) Questionnaire, and (c) The Comprehension Techniques (Listening&Reading) Questionnaire developed by the researcher himself.
