School directors' learning leader behaviors according to the perceptions of teachers who work in primary and secondary schools

This research has intended to reveal the leadership behaviors of the managers of the schools where the teachers work in Primary and Secondary schools around Diyarbakır city, Yenişehir district. For this reason, a trustworthy and reliable questionnaire called 'Learning Leader Questionnaire' which is prepared by Dağlı (2010) has been used on teachers. In the research among 53 formal primary and secondary schools, a questionnaire has been applied to 500 teachers who are randomly chosen from 23 schools. The data have been computed by using SPSS packet programme. The meaning value is calculated as .05. According to the reliability analyze results, the cronbach alpha value scale has been calculated as .98. Some important results from the researches are below. In this result it has been learnt that the Learning Leader Behaviours of the directors level is "sometimes" (X=3.33). It can be said according to the teachers who work with the leaders the level of the learning leaders are 'sometimes According to the sense of the teachers who work in Primary and Secondary schools, there aren't any differences among " gender, marital status, branch, state of education and seniority' in their learning senses. But it has been understood that there has been important differences in the teachers senses according to their working classes.
