Abstract (EN)
Imam Hatip Schools have passed through certain processes since their establishment. It has been the subject of debate on secularism and conservative views and has been on the agenda of every political party. In certain periods was closed and the number was reduced and in certain periods the number increased. The history of these schools, which date back a hundred years, dates back to the end of the Ottoman Empire. Course curriculum of Imam Hatip secondary schools and other secondary schools are the same. Social studies, Turkish, English, Religious culture and ethics, Mathematics Technology and design, Information technologies and software, Science, Visual arts, Music and Physical education courses are taught as a joint. In this study; The aim of this study is to investigate the musical preferences of the students and their families in the Imam Hatip secondary schools and high schools where a significant number of students are educated in our country. This study, family who is thought to have a high level of religious perceptions and sent his children to imam hatip schools for education in this direction and children is imported to determine the types of music they listen to and the types of music they are listening to, thus determining the musical preferences of these individuals and shedding light on the studies that will be carried out in order to give a new curriculum proposal for these schools. The research is believed to be unique, contributing and supportive to the field and new studies on the subject.
