Abstract (EN)
In this study, the flora of Imecik Mountain and its surrounding area was investigated. Imecik Mountain is located in Korkuteli, Antalya. 1122 plant samples were collected in this region between March 2012 and November 2013. As a result of the study, among 1122 plant samples 338 genera and 702 species belonging to 86 different families were identified. Number of total species and subspecies taxa was found to be 714. 32 taxa were collected in C3 square for the first time. 5 of the 86 families belong to the Pteridophyta division. The remaining 81 families belong to the Magnoliophyta division. 7 of the 714 analyzed taxa belong to the Pteridophyta division and the remaining 707 belong to the Magnoliophyta division. The Pinophytina (Gymnosperms) sub-division which belongs to the division Magnoliophyta contains 8 taxa while the Magnoliophytina (Angiosperms) sub-division contains 699 taxa. 618 taxa from the Magnoliophytina sub-division belong to the Magnoliopsida (dicotyledons/dicotyle's) class and 81 taxa to the Liliopsida (Monocots/monocots) class. Families that contain the most taxa, in decreasing order, are Asteraceae (88), Fabaceae (85), Lamiaceae (56), Brassicaceae (48), Caryophyllaceae (41), Boraginaceae (30), Ranunculaceae (22), Asparagaceae (21), Rosaceae (20) and Plantaginaceae (20). Genera that contain the most taxa, in decreasing order, are Astragalus (16), Silene (12), Medicago (11), Ornithogalum (10), Vicia (10), Veronica (10), Trigonella (9), Ranunculus (9), Centaurea (9) and Verbascum (9). The number of endemic taxa in the region is 95 (%13,53). The identified taxa are distributed into the phytogeographic regions as follows: 253 (%35,43) Mediterranean, 93 (%13,02) Irano-Turanian and 17 (%2,38) Euro-Siberian. The phytogeographic regions of the remaining 351 (%49,15) taxa were either unknown or multi-regional. The Asteraceae (88 taxa) was the largest family and the Astragalus (16 taxa) was the biggest genus in the region studied. KEYWORDS: Endemism, Flora, Imecik Mountain, Korkuteli, Taxonomy.
