Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT Pop Art which has a great role in modern arts development, occurs in the mid of 1950's both in Britain and America at the same time. The factors which created Pop Art are Dadaizm and Sürrealizm have some deep impacts like all other art movements. These movements have been generally taken over and the realionship with the subject has been examined. Like the superior artists of Pop Art in Britain are Richard Hamilton, Eduardo Paolozzi, Peter Blake, David Hockney, R.B.Kitaj, Allen Jones and in America are Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, James Rosenquist, Claes Oldenburg, Tom Wesselmann 'fasnicated by the technology world of the new urban popular culture and use the images of it. Personal efforts in Turkey which started by the foundation of Turkish Republic has got acceleration by the improvement in economical fields with the other Western countries in between 1960-70. The period is called Pop years in history while causing the changes in the understanding of art all over the world, nowadays effected most of the Turkish artists in their works. V
