Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is determined the behavior and attitude of construction firms against risks, what of and how they are affected, and the most common risks faced. At the same time, how firms could act in the case of condense risk and uncertainty, what is necessary for them to do in order to prevail their existence and to complete the enterprises undertaken with minimum losses are examined. In this context, the most frequently risks met are defined in order of their importance. These data are evaluated for a sample project as time and cost analysis. The results are explained in terms of statistical methods. As a result, the construction firms, has no systematic risk management concept, even has no knowledge of risk analysis techniques. In addition, they see risk concept only as site problems and their solution to it is to add extra additional time and cost values added in their tenders. Its determined that risks met in construction have important impact on construction cost, time, performance and quality. Therefore it can be concluded that the firms almost do not apply risk management techniques systematically and their attitude in treatment of risks is far away from scientific thought.
