Abstract (EN)

In the study, OTOR (One-Trap One Recombination Center) and IMTS (Interactive Multiple Trap System) thermoluminescence (TL) rate equations, first, second and general-order TL kinetic equations were solved numerically with aid of Mathematica program and TL glow curves were obtained. In numerical solutions, one kinetic parameter is kept constant at each time, and by changing the others, a large number of TL glow curves composed of different combinations glow peaks were obtained. All of the numerically obtained glow curves were analyzed using the computerized glow curve deconvolution (CGCD) method. Two CGCD programs (GLOCANIN and Microsoft Excel) were used in the analyzing and the results of the CGCD programs were compared with the kinetic parameters entered in the numerical solutions and the success of the CGCD methods was investigated. It was also determined which program gave more successful results than the other. When the results were compared, it was seen that the success of the CGCD method depends on the electron transfer coefficients (An/Ah) and trap occupancy rates (n0/Nt) in the numerical solutions of TL-models. It has been observed in the researches that the CGCD program written in Microsoft Excel gives better results than the GLOCANIN program in the analysis of the luminescence curves including the multi-luminescence peak obtained as a result of numerical solutions of OTOR and IMTS models. As a result of the studies carried out, it has been understood that the trap occupancy rate (n0/Nt) must be low in order to make the kinetic parameters more reliable by the CGCD method after experimental studies. For this reason, with the results of low-dose applications, it has been concluded that the TL-luminescence curves must be analyzed by the CGCD method.
