Abstract (EN)
The history of Iraq has been the scene of the separatist activities and rebellions of the Kurdish groups from the foundation of the state to the present day. These revolts have gradually increased in the northern part of the country and turned into separatist behavior. Kurdish groups have acted as a 'de facto' state under the name of fact" Kurdish Regional Government" since the first Gulf War. After 2003, the activities of the Kurds have increased. It is thought that the Regional Kurdish Administration will continue its activities in order to achieve "autonomy" and "full independence". The presence of the autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government in northern Iraq situation, has moved to a different coverage between Iraq and Turkey relations. And moreover, this autonomous goverment is evenfully independent in the future. Between KRG and Turkey's political economics and cultural ties are increasing lately. The aim of our study was to examine the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government in detail and to provide information about the important actors and events related to the demographic profile and political history of the region including the Regional Kurdish Administration, and to capture a perspective on the social memory of the people living here.
