Comparative analysis of constitutional protection methods in the İslamic Republic of Iran and Afghanistan

In this study, which is covered under the title of "A Comparative Analysis of the Methods of Preserving the Constitution in the Islamic Republic of Iran and Afghanistan", it has been tried to examine the constitutional principles in general, the historical course of constitutional developments in Iran and Afghanistan, and finally the methods of protecting the constitution within the framework of their current constitutions. While the Islamic Republic of Iran made its first constitution with the constitutional revolution in 1907 within the framework of the intellectual developments experienced after the 19th century, it changed it after the Iranian Islamic Revolution in 1979 and the same constitution is still in force. Afghanistan, on the other hand, is the country that changed the most regimes and changed the constitution the most in this direction. Afghanistan, which made its first constitution in 1923, changed a total of eight constitutions until 2004. On August 15, 2021, after the Taliban took over the political power again, they abolished the constitution in force in this country. Therefore, this country is still a country without a constitution.
