Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship of religious coping styles with the stress levels of unemployed individuals regarding the demographic factors. This study involved a test group of 400 unemployed individuals, consisting of 208 men and 192 women, who applied to the Çorum Province Labor and Employment Directorate during October 2019 after having received the approval from the unemployed individuals, the Religious Coping Styles Scale has been applied in order to determine their styles and levels of religious coping and Perceived Stress Scale has been applied for determining the stress situations of the unemployed individuals. Moreover the researcher has prepared the Individual İnformation Form in order to determine the social –demographic characteristics, stress situations and feelings of unemployed individuals being socially excluded. The SPSS 22.0 program has been used for statistical analysis of the data obtained in this study. İn this study, it was observed, that the various factors had an effect upon the religious coping levels of individuals and the perceived stress level. Moreover, the significant correlation was seen between religious coping styles and perceived stress levels. Obtained data and results are given in details in the comments section.
