Abstract (EN)
This thesis aims to create datas to understand the status of social, cultural and economic life in Hijri 1251 in Istanbul. The book which is the topic of my dissertation registered in the number of 1388 Kısmet-i Askeriye Court's registry is written by Kütahyavizade Es-Seyyid Mehmed Arif Efendi, who is inducted as a Kassam (inheritance inspector) of Istanbul by Kazasker of Rumelia Muhammed Zeynü'l Abidin Efendi in 1251 (Islamic caledar) the beginning of Saferi (Gregorian calender 1835). In registrations, there are 54 case registry. 8 of those are qua of old cases' supplements. Considering from inheritance registers which made detection of clothing and household goods, evaluations are done about society's different social layer's of daily life and life standards. In Ottoman society bequeathing and the process of shareout examined, the price of goods and commodities which were determined in the book registers were determined in 1835.
