Abstract (EN)

Greenhouse enterprises operating in Sandıklı district of Afyonkarahisar Province, which has been a successful example in the use of geothermal energy in greenhouse cultivation with change and renewal in recent years, have been examined. In recent years, there has been an increase in investments in geothermal greenhouse activities. Due to the geological structure of the region, it has been the result of advantages such as ease of transportation and the abundance of hot water resources. This study focuses on Porter's Diamond Model to enable greenhouses operating in the Sandıklı region to gain competitive advantage and market status. The aim of this thesis is to systematically examine the greenhouses operating in Sandıklı District of Afyonkarahisar in terms of competition analysis. The data of the research was obtained through a questionnaire applied to business owners, managers and engineers. Of the questionnaires distributed to all businesses, 38 valid questionnaires were evaluated. To evaluate the collected data; SPSS 25.0 program was used for statistical analysis. The responses of the individuals to each item in the scales were examined with frequency distributions. As a result of the research, the basic dimensions of factor conditions, demand conditions, firm strategy, the role and effectiveness of the state were found to be high.
