Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between job stress and gender perceptions in women. In this study, it is also aimed to reach the relationship between work stress and demographic characteristics affecting women's perception of gender. Personal information form, job stress scale and gender perception scale were used in the study. The universe and sample of this study consists of women in Toroslar district of Mersin province. The scales applied for this study were applied to 350 women working in Toroslar district. The data obtained from the research were analyzed with the SPSS 22.0 program. As a result of the research, the workload and work stress dimension of the married participants, between the education level and work stress and gender perception scores, between work stress and workload according to their average monthly income, between work stress, workload, work control, according to their occupation status. It was concluded that there was a significant difference in the social support sub-dimension of the work stress scale according to the duration of the work. As a result of this research, it was seen that the independent variable gender perception had a positive effect on the dependent variable job stress, and job stress had a significant and positive effect on gender perception.
