ABSTRACT THE ASSESSMENT OF LATE HITTITE WEATHER GOD STELES ASPECTS STYLISTIC AND ICONOGRAPHIC IN THE MUSEUM OF KAHRAMANMARAŞ KAPUCİ, Umut M.A. Thesis, Department of Archaeology Supervisor: Prof. Dr. A. Nejat BİLGEN July, 2014, 126 pages Three Weather God steles which are dated Late Hittite content from Kahramanmaras Archaeology Museum and assessment of the stylistic and iconographic of steles establish main orientations of the subject. It's purview, to be integrated in the developmental process are provided with 5 chapters. Direct and indirect effects of the collapse of the Hittite Empire to the process in which the sequence of events; Sea Peoples migration / movement of this mass migration of the Aegean and Anatolia, the changes on the first chapter when discussing the subject of the study of spatial forms the border Gurgum historical sources and archaeological research are given in chapter 2. Stylistic assessments of the period which are studied art features to stage distinctive style groups works are given place in chapter 3 and 4, steles on the illustrated figures to the identity of the trail that theological markers, were examined in chapter 5 and the last chapter.
