Abstract (EN)

The process of clamping two or more yarn groups between each other by passing between each other and the products formed as a result of this clamping is called "weaving". Anatolian woman covering hand weaving, decorating herself or her home, dowry, etc. They used kirkitli or shuttle hand weavings in the decoration of cargo animals and in many other fields, as it was carried out for purposes. The shuttle weaving, which has different technical and application features and requires different loom structure as well as Kirkitli weavings, shows local characteristics according to the technical, color, tools, motifs and composition features, usage areas in the country and has a structure reflecting the local culture in the region where it is produced. In the hoop weavings made in the region, the weft threads forming the motif are placed between the warp threads with the help of the hand according to the motif feature and width and in accordance with the cloth foot technique. The general purpose of the research is to create new designs in line with the results investigated in terms of the general characteristics of the ring weavings of Eflani District of Karabük Province, the equipment used, motif, color and composition features, contribution to the local economy, product type and usage.
