Abstract (EN)

In today's world, economic growth, population growth and production and consumption habits are constantly increasing, and many problems that threaten the sustainability of density emerge. At the top of this article is environmental pollution. Solid waste, one of the most important causes of environmental pollution, has become a serious stress pressure element, especially in big cities and rapidly oppressed urban centers. Uncontrolled and regular shaping of solid waste; affects the negative deterioration of air, water and soil, disrupts the balance of the ecosystem and creates significant risks in terms of human health. In this case, it directly affects not only the individual living space but also the planning, infrastructure and sustainable development goals of cities. Solid waste management is among the critical environmental and infrastructure solutions, especially when viewed from the perspective of local governments. Local governments need to increase the capacities of existing facilities or wait for new facilities to meet the increasing amount of waste. This ability can lead to economically and socially recyclable power management in established solid waste facilities by making the right location selection. This effective, in Şanlıurfa, one of the provinces with a high population growth rate in Türkiye, the evaluation of suitable location alternatives for a new solid waste generation continues. The problem in question, due to the complex structure and the necessity of not monitoring many criteria simultaneously, has been analyzed with multi-criteria decisionmaking techniques. It has been developed to provide a systematic and objective solution solution applicable to real-life problems, and it is aimed to progress the decision-making process more effectively and regularly. The five different alternative areas evaluated in the study were determined by considering the studies in the literature, relevant legal regulations and specializations on the subjects. The nine criteria considered in the evaluation of the alternatives include features such as their characteristics, technical features, economic developments and social impacts. In the weighting of these criteria, the SWARA method, which enables the systematic inclusion of the knowledge and judgments of the decision makers into the model and provides results close to objectivity, was preferred. The ranking of the alternatives is a hybrid model system by combining the SWARA method based on different blocks based on the MAIRCA, WPM, OWA, MOOSRA and COCOSO methods. The use of these methods together reduces the specific lengths of the methods and increases the robustness of the decisions. As a result of the analyses, the settlement density distance criterion stood out as the criterion with the highest weight, while the land cost criterion had the lowest weight. As a result of the final evaluation, one of the five different alternatives was determined as the suitable option in terms of all faults and maintenance.
