Abstract (EN)
In this study, the physical properties, organic components, and functional groups of the mixtures of carob pulp and rice husk, which are biomass waste, were determined. Co pyrolysis was carried out at 500 °C pyrolysis temperature, 10 °C/min heating rate, 20 °C holding time, and 1L/min nitrogen flow rate. GC-MS and FT-IR analyzes were performed to determine the composition of the bio-oil obtained from the pyrolysis process. It has been determined that the composition of biooils from pyrolysis consists of phenolic components, furanone, furan, aromatic hydrocarbon, aliphatic hydrocarbon, carboxylic acid, ketone, ester, alcohol, and aldehyde-type components. As a result of GC-MS analysis, it was determined that the most abundant chemical components in biooil were in a phenolic structure. The highest biooil yield in pyrolysis was obtained from a mixture of 75% rice husk and 25% carob pulp biomass. The calorific value, viscosity, density, water content, ash content, pH, and physical properties of bio-oils obtained by the pyrolysis of carob and rice husk were determined by elemental analysis. Homogeneity tests were performed by mixing the biooil obtained from carob and rice husk with diesel and n-butanol. Homogeneity was determined in the mixtures where the diesel ratio was 5%, 10%, 20%, and 30%.
