Perception of urban culture and identity: The example of university students coming to İstanbul from outside the province

City and Man are two elements that complement each other. Looking at the concept of the city, it is a reflection of the blending of social life with its unique geography, architecture, history. Each city reflects the culture, values, and social relations of the society in which it lives, as well as the people it contains in its own identity. The identity and culture of the place we live is one of the elements that make us who we are. In this study, university students from different provinces of higher education in Istanbul through the eyes of urban awareness, urban identity, urban culture of Istanbul by the culture and the concepts of identity and the urban 510 determinations made by applying the survey method is being perceived to participants about how the data were analyzed with SPPS program.
