Abstract (EN)

The developments and changes in Turkey between the years 1950-80 transformed the life of the Anatolian people. For this reason, the years 1950-1980 become more remarkable in social, economic and cultural terms. In this period, when the painters knew Anatolia closely and transferred it to their works, it is seen that they describe the life, nature and geography of the Anatolian people. Considering that the works made between this period have the quality of documents, they have made important contributions to Turkish painting and art history. Anatolia was painted both by painters born and raised in Anatolia and by painters from big city. The importance of how qualities such as identity, origin and geography have an effect on the painter, as well as the connection and relationship between reality and the fact that a painter's view of Anatolian life from the outside without these qualities are the basis of this research.
