Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of group culture on the relationship between personality traits, person-group fit, and task performance. A total of 1384 surveys collected online from public and private sector employees were analyzed in the study. According to the results of the study, significant and positive relationships were found between personality traits and person-group fit, with personality traits D (β = 0.201, p < 0.01) and I (β = 0.255, p < 0.01), and significant and negative relationships were found with personality traits S (β = -0.116, p < 0.01) and C (β = -0.283, p < 0.01). Regarding the relationship between personality traits and task performance, significant and positive relationships were found with personality traits D (β = 0.219, p < 0.01) and I (β = 0.226, p < 0.01), and significant and negative relationships were found with personality traits S (β = -0.161, p < 0.01) and C (β = -0.271, p < 0.01). In terms of person-group fit and task performance, a significant and positive relationship (β = 0.624, p < 0.01) was found, while person-group fit had a "partial mediation effect" on the relationship between personality traits D (β = 0.6097, p < 0.01), I (β = 0.6099, p < 0.01), S (β = 0.6182, p < 0.01), and C (β = 0.5991, p < 0.01) and task performance.
