Abstract (EN)
Osteoblast cells are affected from many mechanical and biological factors; there is no certain answer about mechanical behaviors of them. Cells should be cultured on in vivo-like environment such as collagen gel. The collagen network in bone has three-dimensional structure and appropriate mechanical characteristics.Human osteoblast-like cells are migrated in culture onto the absorption of collagen type-1 to the surface of hydroxyapatite (HA). In vitro cell responses were evaluated in terms of cell morphology, which is determined by cell count, and also other differentiations, which are examined using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).Three different collagen-hydroxyapatite composite formations are produced by chemical composition methods. After culturing bone marrow derived human osteoblast cells, alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity and osteoblast cell surface and/or the extracellular matrix activity are pictured by both Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
