Abstract (EN)
Place; These are the areas where a certain area is limited with two-dimensional or three-dimensional different parameters, and meaning is loaded and created by getting rid of the concept of space. On the other hand, the interior space organization is defined as the structural components and elements of the space as a whole, within the required level of comfort, taking into account the parameters such as flexibility, usability, harmony and aesthetics, especially the functionality, and taking into account the demands of the user, lifestyle and standard of living. thought and designed. Although this form of organization depends on various factors, it occurs through spatial components and elements. Spaces are formed through borders and are divided into areas that serve different purposes and needs for users through borders and thus gain one or more functions. The concept of border, which is one of the basic elements that make up the concept of space, is the structural boundary components in the formation of the interior structure; It is provided with elements such as floor (floor), wall, column, cover (ceiling). At the same time, furniture that plays a limiting and active role in the space also serves this purpose. The concept of border in the interior begins at the formation stage of the space, with the effect of the structural boundary components in the design stage and by means of equipment and objects in the interior space organization, it divides the space into areas with different methods, and in the formation of these areas, it is realized by considering many parameters, especially flexibility, which is the point we will focus on in this study. In this study, the main issue that will be discussed in interior design, considering the demands of the user and the dimensional structure of the space to be created, is the concept of flexibility in design. The concept of flexibility in design; It consists of two main headings called design flexibility and flexibility of use, and different methods that provide these headings. The concept of flexibility in space provides more effective communication between spaces in many areas, especially in narrow spaces, and also contributes to each of these areas in terms of functionality. Flexible spaces also create functional spaces in the design process. This concept, which makes each space more functional and permeable, is a design criterion that is provided and fictionalized both with interventions on the structural boundary components, and with different elements that have a limiting effect such as the equipment and objects that make up the interior space, and the concept of flexibility is a fundamental concept in the space design process today. constitutes one of the concepts.
