Taksonomic and Faunistic studies on the species of Subfamily Paederinae (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) in Kırıkkale

Abstract (EN)

In this study, as a result of field studies conducted in Kırıkakle province in Central Anatolia region between June 2016 and April 2019, 17 species in 11 genus belonging to Paederinae (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) subfamily were recorded. Leptobium yagmuri Anlaş, 2017 (Ankara) and T. inexcisus Assing, 2009 (Kastamonu) were were reported for the first time after their descriptions. As a result of the study, 17 species including Astenus thoracicus (Baudi di Selve, 1857), Leptobium gracile (Gravenhorst, 1802) and Lobrathium rugipenne (Hochhuth, 1851), excluding 14 species are new records for Kırıkkale. Achenium scimbaliodes Koch, 1937 and Tetartopeus inexcisus Assing, 2009 species were reported for the first time from Central Anatolia Region. Astenus pulchellus (Heer, 1839), was known from Karaman, is recorded from Kırıkkale province for the first time In addition, ecological and zoogeographical information of the species identified in the study were also presented.
