Abstract (EN)

The şer'iyye sicils are the most suitable resources for seeing the social, political and social policies implemented by the Ottoman Empire in the central and provincial and witnessing human relations in those regions. Thus, these records are the main sources of information in the fields of history, law and many other sciences. Kırşehir Şer'iyye Sicil No.21 consists of 120 pages and 72 documents. The şer'iyye sicil includes many legal, administrative and socio-cultural issues from divorce to employment, from murder to embezzlement.
