Industrial symbiosis applications in Kırşehir province

Within the scope of this study, information was collected about the wastes of companies with industrial waste potential operating in Kırşehir, their quantities and how the wastes were disposed of. In the light of the collected information, the companies were matched in order to evaluate these wastes at the maximum level, based on the relevant case studies conducted in the world and in Türkiye. As a result of the matching, a symbiosis network example was created for Kırşehir. Thus, new business opportunities were created by reducing the wastes produced by the enterprises to minimum levels and ensuring their recycling in a way that would not harm the environment. In addition, with the current thesis, it is aimed to create a symbiosis relationship between the environment and industrial enterprises and to support regional development and sustainability.
