Abstract (EN)

This study aims to investigate the organization structure of anti-globalization movements that have been still in the development process, as well as the social factors that give rise to these movements, and the potential dynamics of these movements within the process of globalization. This thesis seeks answers to three primary questions: Firstly, in what ways were the anti-globalization movements, as a social movement, affected by preceding social movements? In this respect, are anti-globalization social movements the final chain of an evolutionary process, or do they represent a major break from preceding movements and therefore a new stage of social movements? Secondly, in what ways has the globalization process affected social movements and what are the leading causes of the emergence of anti-globalization movements against this multi-dimensional process? Finally, what are the structural characteristics and distinguishing features of anti-globalization movements? Which political cultures support these movements and which social processes give rise to these movements? What are the prospective potentials of these movements, if there are any?
