The change of the physical fabric of Rize city from its foundation to today

This study aims to reveal the development of the city's built environment from the earliest date we can reach historical data about Rize City, 131, to the 2000s. The study consists of 4 sections: General Information, Studies Conducted, Findings and Discussion, Results and Recommendations. In the general information section; the purpose, scope and method of the study are clarified, primary and secondary sources that will provide information about the physical structure of Rize City are explained, the civilizations that have dominated Rize from the ancient age to the present, the political history of the city and the geography of the city are examined in general terms. In the studies conducted section; the development of the physical structure of Rize City from the ancient period to the Republican Period is processed, and the historical structures are identified and a detailed examination is included. In the Findings and Discussion section, the data obtained from the entire study are summarized. In the Results and Recommendations section, evaluations were made about all the examinations made within the scope and purpose of the study, and suggestions were given for reaching more detailed and specific data on the subject of this study and for new studies to be carried out after this study.
