Abstract (EN)

SAP is the world leader in terms of market share in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) softwares today. Companies which are in retail sector use this software as all other companies use. SAP ERP software has its own solutions for retail but there exist some developments in this area. Products, main data such as inventory and financial are required to run in paralel with workflows. Softwares that are used in sector can respond only limited needs and most of them working independently from Enterprise Resource Planning Softwares so this leads serious costs and time loss. Requirement of developing a fully integrated software with ERP system and meet the requirement of sale point in retail sector is getting a must in nowadays. I developed this software because all kinds of bidirectional data have to be transferred without any problem between sale point and ERP server, moreover instant sales must not affected from any kind of disconnection in the case of all sale points are so far from ERP server. In addition, the high cost of SAP software system will also be discussed as well as other short comings and deficiencies relating to settlement of these solutions will be presented. Also, shortcomings of SAP software as well as the high cost, usage and learning difficulties will be discussed and present solutions for them. In this thesis considering the advantages of the Java programming language, application was developed with Java. Java connectivity package with the ability to call remote functions which are provided by SAP are used for connection with the ERP system and executing processes. Using different databases at local and central points, the system can work offline and uninterrupted. A secure working system is provided by using Virtual Private Network (VPN) between the end points and central system.
