Abstract (EN)

Red pine (Pinus brutia) is a pine forest species with the widest distribution area in Turkey. Therefore, in terms of wood production because it has huge economic returns is one of the most valuable primary tree species in Turkey. Identification and production of quality sapling origins is one of the important factors in the success of afforestation studies, especially the improvement of unproductive areas. In this study, sapling length, sapling root collar diameter, number of side shoots and average length of the last year, peak shoot length, first size of sapling, number of crown buds in 1 + 0 year old Red Pine (Pinus brutia) seedlings obtained from 6 different origins in Antalya Forest Nursery and by determining the degree of robustness, it was analyzed whether there were differences in terms of morphological features between the origins. Within the scope of the study, measurements were carried out on 100 saplings from 6 different origins in 3 repetitions, and in total 1800 saplings. In this thesis, it is aimed to determine the genetic features as a result of measuring morphological features. Sapling materials of Antalya Düzlerçamı, Pınargözü, Gündoğmuş, Eskibağ, Alanya Kargı, Bucak and Genotypic Garden were used. It was determined that the saplings have statistically significant differences in terms of morphological characteristics depending on the origin.
