Lâmi'î Çelebi's Şevâhidü'n-nübüvve Translation: Review-critical edition-index

Şevâhidü'n-nübüvve is the book of Mollah Abdurrahmân-ı Jâmî who describes the Prophet Muhammad's evidences of prophedhood. The base of this work is the handiwork of Mollah Jâmî's Şevâhidü'n-nübüvve which was translated into Turkish with some supplements by Lâmi'î Çelebi. Lâmi'î Çelebi was translated the book from the persian language and he enriched the work by adding some hadiths, verses of Koran, poems and other sections that was approved of evidences of being prophet. As a matter of fact, this work prepared, beginning with totally four dittos, for the purpose of the critical review of the original handiwork. Also within the study of this work,other some types that narrate the prophethood of Muhammad were searched and given information about the lifes and the works of Abdurrahmân-ı Jâmî and Lami'î Çelebi. In addition, in this work a careful study of Şevâhidü'n-nübüvve and index of special nouns were prepared and presented to the use of scholarship society. Keywords: Hz.
