Abstract (EN)

In this study, we performed RIVA with two different local anesthetic solution in patient scheduled for hand and/or forearm surgery. Lidocaine-prilocaine mixturation was compared whit lidocaine-prilocaine + paracetamol combination for the effects on anesthesia and analgesia.18-60 years, ASA I-II status, 46 patients randomly allocated two groups. The control group (Group K, n=23) 1.5 mg/kg of 1% lidocaine + 1.5 mg/kg of 1% prilocaine mixturation and paracetamol group (Group P, n=23) 1.5 mg/kg of 1 % prilocaine + 1.5 mg/kg of 1 % lidocaine and 1 mg/kg iv paracetamol combination were applied.Peroperative heart rates, systolic, diastolic and mean arterial pressures, peripheral oxygen saturations, VAS, sedation scores, onset and duration times of the motor and sensory blocks and times of the first analgesic requirements of the each two groups were recorded. Before discharge patients were asked about their satisfaction.Peroperative evaluation of the patients, operation and tourniquet times, onset and duration times of the sensory and motor block, hemodynamic values, SpO2, the VAS scores and total analgesic consumption and the first analgesic time were not statistically significant difference in terms of quantitiesAs a result, the addition of 1 mg/kg of paracetamol to intravenous regional anesthesia which was applied lidocaine-prilocaine did not clinically occur any significant difference in anesthesia and analgesia. Patient satisfaction, only one subjective assessment, increased.
