Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, solutions of the linear fractıonal diffusion wave equation are surveyed. The solutions of these equations, which are in the fractional differential equations category, are also popular in resent year. This work consists of six parts. The first part is the entry part In the first part In the second part, basic concepts and equations which is going to be used in thesis are presented. In the third part, the solutions of fractional diffusion and diffusion-wave equations obtained by using Petrov-Galerkin method and Quadratic B-Spline basic functions are studied (Esen vd., 2014). In the fourth part, the solutions of the same equations with the B-Spline collocation method are mentioned (Esen vd., 2015). In the fifth part, collocational solutions of fractional diffusion for free power state are discussed (Esen vd., 2013). In the final past, a different solution of fractional diffusion equation with B-Spline collocation is analyzed. Numerical examples of applied solution methods are given and also L_2 and L_∞ error norms are analyzed differently.
