Abstract (EN)

The present thesis consists of four chapter.In the first chapter of this thesis, some knowledge about the integral equations and the existence of solution of nonlinear nonhomogen quadratic Volterra integral equations were given.In the second chapter, some basic definitions and theoremswere given to understand other chapters easier.Basic concepts such as linear space, metric space, normed space,topological space, continuous operator and compact set were given.In the third chapter, the fixed point theorems which were expressedand proved by Luıtzen Egbertus JanBrouwer were explained.In the fourth chapter, the existence of solutionof nonlinear nonhomogen quadratic Volterra integral equationsin the classical Banach space $C[0, T]$ consisting of all real functions defined and continuous on theinterval $[0, T]$ were investigated by using of the fixed point theorem.Moreover, in this chapter, some applications were given to understand results more clearly.KEYWORDS:Volterra Integral Equations,Measure of Noncompactness, Fixed Point Theorem
