Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to analyze the self-control and self-management levels of secondary school students who have licensed sports and no sport. This research is 355 students who are studying in team sports and individual sports licensed and educated at 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade level in 2015-2016 Spring Semester in Düzce Province, Central Province in the province and these students are statistically comparable 337 students who do not play sports in total. In this research, data collection tool developed by Mezo, P.G (2009) and Akın; Self-control and self-management scale adapted to Turkish by Demirci and Çardak (2012) was used. The SPSS package program was used to analyze the data, and the percentage and frequency values were used for the analysis of personal data. In the analysis of the data on the sub-problems of the study, firstly Kolmogrow Simirnov test was performed to see if the groups were normally distributed. Tukey and Dunnet-C tests were used when there was a difference between parametric test-independent groups t test, one-way analysis of variance and data. At the end of this research, students who have licensed sports, have significantly difference perception on self control and self management compared no sports. Moreover it is seen that sex, sport branch and sport year significantly affect students' self control and self management perception. Key Words: Self-Control, Self-Management, Sport, Lıcensed Sports
