Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the author examines the development of logistics concept in the literature. Co-citation analysis was applied to determine in which direction the field is advancing, and which branches of science it is rising above, and the roots, breadth, intellectual structure of the field, and from which disciplines it feeds. As a result of the analysis carried out on the references of the 105 most cited articles up to 2021, studies were clustered in five different groups. In the 1990s, while studies in the field of logistics began to intensify, it was determined which areas the roots of the field were based on. Commonly used methods in the field have been identified. The most cited studies were examined, and their common features were revealed. The most frequently used words in the literature were determined and determined as the starting words for future literature readings. The countries that contributed the most to the field of logistics were determined. The most cited articles and journals were determined. The most well-known authors in the field have been identified. Mendeley program was used for resource management. Access to the works and databases is provided through the Republic of Turkey National Library. The study was carried out synchronously with the thesis supervisor on the Microsoft 365 Education Cloud System.
