Abstract (EN)

Research on the Internet of Things (IoT) is gaining a lot of attention and increasing worldwide. LoRaWAN technology, which is used in many areas such as logistics and vehicle tracking, health, smart agriculture and herd tracking, industrial control, smart buildings and homes, smart cities, environmental tracking and smart networks, is specially produced for IoT use. LoRaWAN offers great advantages such as low battery consumption, long-range communication and the ability to establish many end-node connections with a single gateway. The leading natural disasters in our country are forest fires and floods. In this thesis, an early warning system was designed using Dragino LoRaWAN LDDS75 distance detection sensor, LHT65 temperature and humidity sensor and DLOS8 gateway based on real-time data. Data from multiple application areas were evaluated in the system. Fires that are burned unconscious and cannot be extinguished cause fires. Given that there is power in transportation in such places, it is very late to make an emergency response. Thanks to LDDS75 sensors placed on bridges and LHT65 sensors placed in wooded areas, disaster situations that may occur will be detected in advance. Anticipating and preparing for these disasters is important both in terms of protecting the natural environment and in terms of minimizing casualties. According to the measurements, the communication distances of the sensors and the correct data they sent showed that they were a very accurate choice for such projects. Correct deployment of the gateway is essential for efficient signal communication between the gateway and the sensors. For this reason, a gateway tower was designed to provide efficient signal communication and various analyzes were made on the tower. The use of LoRaWAN technology in many other areas will also lead to new users technologically.
