Abstract (EN)

The subject of this study is a sample application on risk analysis of laboratories in the Department of Mining Engineering of Inönü University. Risks idenmtified through observation and in line with experience risk analysis was carried out by using the Fine-Kinney risk analysis method into a risk classification and then some recommendations were made to reduce the degree of these risks. In addition, noise measurements of some of the machines in the section were taken and a noise map of the area where these machines are located was taken. According to risk analysis data, hazards determined to be in the essential risk class in Mineral Processing / Enrichment Laboratories consist of electrical problems caused by machinery and equipment, and the hazards caused by chemicals. The hazards determined to be of significant risk class in the Mining Enterprise Scientific Research Laboratory and Rock Mechanics Laboratory are not being used under the supervision of the authorized personnel of the machinery-equipment, the dangers arising from the machinery-equipment used in crushing operations, noise, electrical problems and cutting tools / equipment. In noise level measurements, the highest noise level was measured in the Los Angeles Abrasion Device with approximately 100 dB (A) in the laboratory area and the lowest noise level was measured in the Sieve Shaker with approximately 70 dB (A).
