Abstract (EN)

The Balkans and some Balkan states, where the Turkish population increased gradually with the resettlement policy that the Ottoman Empire had dominated for centuries, witnessed great migrations and developments in the collapse process that started with the second Vienna siege of the Ottoman Empire. As the child of a family that had to migrate from the Balkans, the collections in my thesis on this culture, which reveals the lost culture and secret backyard of the Ottoman Empire, have tried to be revealed with my dictionary consisting of pictures and words that carry this culture. In the first part of my thesis, factors such as multiculturalism, ethnic origin, belonging and dual citizenship brought by the phenomenon of migration are mentioned. In the second part, there is information about the history of the Balkan peninsula, its geography, the historical formation of migrations and their reasons. In the third part, there are pictures obtained as a result of detailed research on the lives, culture and traditions of the Macedonian immigrants. In the last part, evaluations on the subject and various reviews and observations are given.
