Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACTLaryngopharyngeal reflux is a common entity and its correlation with larynxcarcinoma is known for a long time. It is thought that laryngopharyngeal reflux is a cofactorwith tobacco and alcohol consumers but without tobacco and alcohol users it is related withthe primer carcinogenesis of larynx carcinoma. Lately studies with bile acids shows that theyhave a inflammation potential at laryngeal and esophageal tissues. In our study we compare the hypo pharyngeal tissue, tumor tissue and blood total bileacid level of 21 primer larynx carcinoma patients with hypo pharyngeal tissue and blood of 15patients, who has a benign laryngeal lesion. In the study group hypo pharyngeal tissue total bile acid level is significantly higherthan control group hypo pharyngeal tissue. Also study group tumor tissue total bile acid levelis significantly higher than control group hypo pharyngeal tissue. But there isn?t statisticallyany difference between the total bile acid blood levels of each group. And there isn?t anystatistically any difference between the total bile acid levels of hypo pharyngeal tissue andtumor tissue of study group. As a result bile acids are present at laryngeal and hypo pharyngeal tissue of larynxcarcinoma patients intensively. And because of bile acid?s inflammation effect, potentialmutagenic feature and they can be cumulate intracellular tissue bile acids can be an etiologicalfactor for laryngeal carcinoma
