Abstract (EN)
Nanoparticles are prepared by suspending nonmetal or metal nanoparticles with a fluid. Metal and nonmetallic nanoparticles can be used to increase the heat transfer rate according to different application areas. Magnetic nanofluids are obtained by suspending magnetic nanoparticles into a nonmagnetic basic fluid. Nanoparticles have become an attractive topic in recent years as they have a positive effect on applications such as medicine, biomechanics, cooling of electronic components and heat transfer enhancement. In this study, the thermal conductivities and viscosities of nanofluids prepared at different volume fractions (%0.25, %0.50, %1.00) with various magnetic nanopaticles (CoFe2O4, ZnFe2O4, MnFe2O4, Fe2O3.NiO) were experimentally investigated at different temperatures (20°C, 30°C, 40°C, 50°C, 60°C). Nanofluids for each nanoparticles types were obtained in three different volume fractions by the dispersion of nanoparticles in pure water. The thermal conductivities and viscosities of all prepared nanofluids were measured according to the determined parameter values. The results obtained were compared with various theoretical models.
