Abstract (EN)

This research investigated the yield and yield of 12 registered lentil varieties (Seyhan-96, Yerli Kırmızı, Fırat-87, Atakan, Özbek, Çağıl, Çiftçi, Şanlıbey, Şakar, Altın Toprak, Evirgen and Tigris) in the 2020-2021 growing season in Mardin-Kızıltepe Yayıklı village. It was carried out under dry conditions in order to determine its effect on yield-related characteristics. The experiment was conducted with three replications according to the experimental design in randomized blocks. Plant height (cm), first pod height (cm), number of branches (pcs/plant), number of pods per plant (pcs/plant), number of grains per plant (pcs/plant), thousand grain weight (g), grain yield ( Significant differences of 1% were detected in terms of kg/da), biological yield (kg/da) and harvest index (%). According to the results obtained in the study; thousand grain weight varied between 27.5-46.0 g and the lowest value was obtained in Evirgen variety and the highest value was obtained in Şakar variety. In terms of grain yield, it varied between 186.8-281.7 kg/da and the highest yield was obtained in Şanlıbey and Seyhan-96 varieties. While the harvest index varied between 25.2-35.5%, the highest harvest index was obtained in the Şanlıbey variety. As a result, the best results were obtained for the Mardin region in terms of all characteristics of Şanlıbey and Seyhan-96 varieties.
